Received the 31.st October 1765 of Casper Rinaker four shillings & ten pence sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land and by virtue of a commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General John Davidson Recorded 31.st Octob.r 1765 5¼ s.ds Examined This Indenture made this Thirty first day of October in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundel County Esq.r of the one part and the Rector Vestrymen & Church Wardens of Saint Pauls Parrish in Baltimore County & Province aforesaid for and on behalf of the said Parish of the other part Whereas Charles Carroll Esq.r late of the City of Annapolis & County of Ann Arundel aforesaid Deceased by his Last Will and Testament in writing bearing Date the first day of December 1718 among other things therein contained Bequeathed all his Lands in Baltimore County to his sons Charles and Daniel as also all his mortgages as by the said will duly proved and recorded may appear And the said Daniel Carroll by his ^Last^ will and Testament in writing bearing Date the 12.th day of April 1734 did will & authorize Charles Carroll Party to this Deed to sell all his Lands which should not in any one tract exceed five hundred acres as by the said will duly proved & recorded may appear Now This Indenture Witnesseth That the said Charles Carroll for and in consideration of the sum of Ten shillings sterling money to him in hand paid by the said Rector Vestrymen & Church Wardens of Saint Pauls Parrish Paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoffe and confirm unto the said Rector Vestrymen and Church Wardens of Saint Pauls Parrish in Baltimore County aforesaid in Trust to and for the use of the said Parrish all that Lot of Land lying and being in the second addition to Baltimore Town in Baltimore County aforesaid on the west side of Jones's falls known or distinguished by the number one hundred and fifty five Together with all Rights Profits Benefits Priviledges and Advantages ^Premisses^ and appurtenances to the said Bargained Lot of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Bargained Lot of Land with |
