       Philemon Lloyd Chew William Paca and John Hall and severally acknowledged
       the within Instrument of writing to be their respective Act and Deed to and for the
       uses Intents and purposes within particularly specified

        This Indenture made the Twenty fourth Day of October in the year
       of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty six Between Philemon Lloyd
       Chew of Queen Anns County Gentleman of the one part and Samuel Chew
       of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said
       Philemon Lloyd Chew for and in consideration of the Sum of five shillings
       Sterling Money in hand paid by the said Samuel Chew the Receipt whereof
       the said Philemon Lloyd Chew doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom
       doth hereby release Acquit and Discharge the said Samuel Chew his Executors
       Administrators and Assigns hath Granted bargained and sold and by
       these presents doth grant bargain and Sell unto the said Samuel Chew his
       Executors and Administrators all That part of a Tract of Land Called
       Carter Bennett Containing by Estimation four hundred and fifty acres
       and those Tracts of Land adjoining thereto called the Oblong and Part of
       another Tract of Land Called Hunts Mount situate lying and being in
       Ann Arundel County and also all That Tract of Land Called Poppingay
       Containing by Estimation five hundred and forty Acres situate lying and
       being in Calvert County and also an undivided Moiety or half Part of the
       Tract of Land which was Surveyed for the Father of the said Philemon Lloyd
       Chew for five Thousand Acres formerly lying in Prince Georges County
       but now in Frederick County called Chews Farm (which said several Tracts of
       Land and undivided Moiety were devised in fee Simple to the said Philemon
       Lloyd Chew by the last will and Testament of his Father (together with all
       Messuages Edefices Buildings Gardens Orchards ways water Courses
       Commodities Priviledges Improvements Emoluments Advantages and
       Appurtenances whatever to the said Several Tracts or Parcells of Land
       and undivided Moiety belonging or in anywise Appertaining and the
       Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and
       Profits Thereof and every part and parcell thereof  To have and to hold
       the said Several tracts or parcells of Land and undivided Moiety with
       the Appurtenances unto the said Samuel Chew his Executors Administrators
       and Assigns from the day next before the Day of the Date of these Presents for
