(129) Degrees East thirty Eight perches then North Eighty Degrees East twenty two perches then south Eighty three Degrees East Twenty Six perches then south one Degree East fifty two perches then south forty four Degrees East Eight perches then south fifteen Degrees west fifty two perches then south Thirty one Degrees west fifty four perches then by a straight Line to the beginning Trees Containing and now laid out for One hundred and Twenty Acres of Land more or less together with all and Singular the Lands and premisses with its appurtenances and Improvements thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land according to the aforesaid meets and Bounds to him the aforesaid John Penn Cheney his heirs and Assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever and behoof of him the said John Penn Cheney and his heirs and Assigns and the said Edward Cheney Doth Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Penn Cheney and his heirs and Assigns that he the said Edward Cheney his heirs and assigns will for Ever hereafter warrant and Defend the aforesaid Tract of Land to him the said John Penn Cheney his heirs and Assigns for Ever from all persons Claiming or to Claim any Right or Title to the said Land and premisses from by or under him the said Edward Cheney or his heirs or assigns and the said Edward Cheney farther Covenants and Agrees to and with the said John Penn Cheney and his heirs or assigns that he the said Edward Cheney and his heirs and assigns will for Ever hereafter at the Reasonable Request of him the said John Penn Cheney and his heirs Doe make Acknowledge suffer Execute or Cause to be made done Acknowledged or Executed Every such further or other act or Acts thing or Things Assurances or Conveyances as his or there Council Learned in the Law shall at any Time Reasonably Require for the better Assurance Securety or Shure makeing of all and Singular the Lands and premisses hereby Bargained and sold or intended to be hereby bargained and sold In Witness whereof the said Edward Cheney hath set his hand and affixed his Seal the Day and year first above written his in presence of Edward E Cheney (seal) John Burgess Jun.r, H Ridgely Mark On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was Thus Written Viz.t Received this 19.th Day of July 1766 of John Penn Cheney the Sum of fifty pounds Current Money it being the Consideration Expressed in the within Deed his John Burgess Jun.r Edward E Cheney H Ridgely Mark |
