(114) The Dwelling house of the said Nicholas Maccubbin in the City aforesaid with legal interest thereon at or before the Twenty fifth day of July Seventeen Hundred and Sixty seven that then these Presents shall be void and of none Effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and the said William Andrew do by these Presents bind himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators to pay the said Money and the Interest Accordingly, Also the Cost of Drawing and recording the said Mortgage In Witness whereof the said William Andrew hath hereunto Sett his hand and Affixed his Seal the day and year first above written The Words Reference being had to the said Surveys will more fully and at large appear, interlined before Signed Sealed & Delivered W.m Andrew (seal) in the presence of Thomas Harwood Joseph Gaither On The Back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus written viz.t Received the day and year within Mentioned of the within mentioned Nicholas Maccubbin the within Sum of Five hundred pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain it being the Consideration Money Mentioned as witness my hand W.m Andrew Tho.s Harwood, Joseph Gaither On the Twenty fifth day of July Seventeen hundred and Sixty Six Came the within named William Andrew before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court for Maryland and Acknowledge the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed to be the Right Title and Estate of the within named Nicholas Maccubbin his heirs and assigns for Ever according to the True intent and Meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and Provided Geo Steuart 10 sides Recorded 25.th July 1766 Examined This Indenture made This fourth day of June in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Six Between John Hammond of Ann Arundel County Gent.n of the one part and Charles Hammond Jun.r of the county afs.d Gent.n of the other part Witnesseth That the said John for and in consideration of the affection which he beareth unto the said Charles his Brother as also for the sum of five Shillings Currency to him the said John in hand being well and Truly paid by said Charles at and upon the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof the said John Doth hereby acknowledge and (therewith) |
