        Two Pounds and Eigth Pence half penny sterling for the
        use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine
        on the within One Thousand and seventeen Acres of Land
        by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.^r

Exam.^d    This Indenture made
        the fifth day of March in the Year of our Lord One
        Thousand Seven hundred and sixty two between
        Thomas Sligh of Baltimore County in the province
        of Maryland of the one part, And John
        Acres of Ann Arundel County in the same
        Province of the other part  Witnesseth That
        the said Thomas Sligh for and in consideration
        of the sum of Ten pounds Current Money to him
        in hand by the said John Akers paid the receipt
        where of the said Thomas Sligh doth hereby acknowledge
        and himself to be therewith fully satisfied
        contented and paid Hath granted, Bargained,
        Sold, Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed, And by
        these Presents doth grant, Baragin, Sell, Alien
