Exam.^d  This Indenture made this Twenty
        first day of July Anno Domini One thousand
        seven hundred and sixty two    Between Basil
        Dorsey Sen.^r of Ann Arundel County in the Province
        of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and William
        Hall of Elk Ridge in Ann Arundel County and
        Province aforesaid Merchant of the other part
        Witnesseth that the said Basil Dorsey Sen.^r
        for and in consideration of the sum of Forty two
        Pounds Ten Shillings Currant Money to him in
        hand paid at and before the ensealing and delivery
        of these presents by the said William Hall the
        Receipt whereof he the said Basil Dorsey Sen.^r
        doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith
        fully satisfied contented and paid and thereof and
        therefrom and from every part and parcell thereof
        doth fully clearly and absolutely exonerate acquit and
        Disharge the said William Hall his Heirs and
        Assigns for ever  Hath Given granted Bargained
        sold aliend enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents
        doth fully Clearly and Absolutely give grant Bargain
        Sell alien enfeoffe and confirm unto the said William Hall his
        heirs & Assigns forever all That Tract or Parcell of Land
        called Dorsey's Chance situated and Lying in
        Frederick County Beginning at a Bounded
