On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was

        Received of Absalom Shipley & Adam Shipley the
        Just Sum of Twenty Pounds Sterling Money being the
        Consideration Money mentioned in the within Deed p me

            Then came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships
        Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Peter Shipley
        and Acknowledged the Within Indenture to be his Act and
        Deed and the Land and premisses therein Mentioned to be
        the Right and Estate of the within Named Absalom
        Shipley & Adam Shipley their heirs and Assigns for ever
        according to an Act of Assembly in that case made
        & Provided    Taken and Acknowledged before me the day
        and Year first above written

        1762        August 9.^th    Received of Mess.^rs Absalom
        Shipley & Adam Shipley four shillings sterling for
        the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation
        Fine on the within One Hundred Acres of Land by Virtue
        of a commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.^r his said
        Lordship's Agent & receiver General
