        The following indorsements are on the Back of a Deed from
        William Stephenson to Thomas Johnson Junior entered in this Book
        folio 1

               On the Twenty eighth Day of July 1762 Came before us the Subscribers
        Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Kent County Isabella Stevenson
        the Wife of the within named William Stevenson and being by us privately
        examined a part from and out of the hearing of her said Husband did release
        and did declare that she did intend by this her acknowledgement to release
        unto the within named Thomas Johnson Junior his Heirs and Assigns all
        her Right Title and Claim of Dower of in and to the four Lots of Ground and
        Appurtenances within mentioned according to the Form of the Act of Assembly
        in such case made and provided

        I Dennis Dulany Clerk of Kent County Court do hereby certify That
        Thomas Smyth and Thomas Garnett the persons taking and subscribing
