        And by these present Do and each of them Doth constitute
        ordain and appoint and in their and each of their stead and
        place put Bryan Philpot of Baltimore County
        in the province of Maryland aforesaid and Cap.^t Kensey
        Johns of Ann Arundel County and province aforesaid
        their true and Lawful Attornies Jointly & Severally for
        them & in their Names to Acknowledge these presents to
        be the Act and Deed of them the said Bartholomew Pomeroy
        and Joseph Janson and the Land and Premisses therein
        mentioned, to be the Right and Estate of the said James
        Dick his Heirs and Assigns for ever before any Justice
        or Justices of the said province of Maryland or country
        or countries thereof according to any Act of Acts of
        assembly of the said Province of Maryland or any
        custom there used, the said Bartholomew Pomeroy and
        Joseph Janson hereby ratifying and confirming whatsoever
        their said Attorneys or either of them shall do
        in that Behalf by Force and Virtue of these presents
        In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have
        here unto and to two others of the same Tenor and date
        interchangeably set their Hands and seals the day
