        1762 July 16.^th  Then came James M.^cLachlan one of the
        subscribing evidences to the Within Deed before me the subscriber
        one of the Provincial Judges of the Province of Maryland and
        made Oath on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God, that
        he subscribed his Name as Witness to the Within Deed and
        that he saw Charles Sommerset Smith, the other subscribing
        evidence, sign his Name as Witness hereto at
        the same time, and that the said Deed was duly executed
        in their Presence by the parties within Mentioned
