Exam.d  This Indenture made the seventeenth Day of
        April in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand seven
        hundred and sixty two  Between Bartholomew
        Pomeroy and Joseph Janson surviving assignees of
        John Philpot and John Hutchinson late of London
        Bankrupts of the one Part  And James Dick of
        Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland
        Merchant of the other part    Whereas Patrick
        Creagh late of ann Arundel County aforesaid deceased
        did by deed duly executed in his Life Time bearing date
        on or about the sixteenth day of April in the Year of our
        Lord seventeen hundred and fifty four amongst other things
        Mortgage to a Certain William Torver now deceased and
        the aforesaid Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson
        the Tract or Parcel of Land and Appurtenances herein
        after Mentioned upon such Consideration Condition and
        Terms as in the said Deed of Mortgage are contained
        as by the same Deed Relating being thereto had may more
        fully appear    Now this Indenture Witnesseth
        that the said Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph
        Janson for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred
        and five pounds sterling Money to them in hand paid by
        the said James Dick at or before the sealing and delivery
        of these presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge
        Have and each of them Hath granted Bargained
        Sold Aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these
        presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain
        sell Alien Release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the
