(7) Ex.d This Indenture made the Ninth day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty two, Between Joseph Cromwell of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland of the one part, and William Cromwell, Ruth Gill, Dinah Wells, Hannah Cromwell, Patience Cromwell, & Philemon Cromwell sons & Daughters of William Cromwell late of Ann Arundel County in the Province afores.d Deceased of the other part Whereas the said William Cromwell on the Nieneteenth day of April 1757 did obtain, out of his Lordships Land Office a Special Warrant under his Lordships Proclamation to Resurvey a tract of Land called Huckleberry Island lying and being in Ann arundel County containing Thirty acres with liberty of adding any Contiguous Vacant Land, but before the said Warrant was Executed the said William Cromwell died Whereupon the said Warrant was on the 11.th day of April 1759 renewed in the Name of the above Named Joseph Cromwell Executor of the last Will and Testament of the said William Cromwell in Pursuance whereof a Certificate was returned into the Land Office aforesaid by which it appeared the Original Tract with Vacant Land added contained One hundred & Thirty five Acres still called by the Name of Huckleberry Island on which Patent did issue to him the aforesaid Joseph Cromwell on the 30.th day of June 1759 Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Joseph Cromwell in complyance with the last Will and Testament of the aforesaid William Cromwell and for & in consideration of the sum of six shillings to him in hand by the said William Cromwell, Ruth Gill Dinah Well, Hannah Cromwell, Patience Cromwell |
