Exam.d  This Indenture made this Fourteenth
        Day of June, In the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven
        hundred & sixty two  Between Robert Gover of Calvert
        County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one part, and
        Robert Ward of Ann Arundel County Planter of the other Part
        Witnesseth that the said Robert Gover for and in consideration
        of the sum of thirty pounds sterling to them in hand paid by the
        said Robert Ward before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
        the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge, and thereof
        and therefrom doth acquit exonerate & discharge the said Robert
        Ward his Heirs Exec.rs & Adm.rs for ever Hath given, granted,
        Bargained, Sold, Aliened and Confirmed, and by these presents doth
        give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, and confirm unto him the said
        Robert Ward his Heirs and assigns for ever, Part of a Tract
        of Land called Broughtonashley Beginning at the south West
        corner of a parcell of Land which John Ward Bought of Robert
        Grundy being part of the aforesaid Tract and Broughtonashley
        now in the Possession of Robert Ward  Running from thence
        south one hundred & forty perches then East Eighty five perches
        then North ninety five perches thence to the beginning Tree
        containing fifty acres more or less  Together with all the buildings
        and improvements thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining,
        and the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and
        Remainders Rents Issues & Proffits thereof  To have &
        To hold the afd bargained Land and Premisses with the
        appurtenances thereof to him the said Robert Ward
        his Heirs and Assigns for ever to his and their only proper use
        and behoof, And the said Robert Gover doth further
        covenant, grant and agree, to and with the said Robert
        Ward his Heirs and Assigns, that he the said Robert Gover
