(407 Examd To all Christian People to whom these presents shall come I Thomas John Hammond of Ann Arundel County send Greeting Know Ye that I the said Thomas John Hammond (as well for and in consideration of the Natural Love and affection which I have and bear to my son John Hammond as also for divers other good causes and considerations me at this present especially moving have given granted and by these presents Do give grant Transfer and Confirm unto my said son John Hammond and his Heirs and assigns for ever all that Tract of Land Called and Known by the Name of Timber Neck excepting a parcel of Land sold out of the said tract to William Hancock Inn.r containing One hundred acres lying in Ann Arundel County on the south side of a creek called Rock Creek Beginning at a bounded pine Tree standing by a cove and running down the said creek East and cross a cove one hundred and Fourty Perches to a bounded Pine then south Five hundred and thirty perches then West one hundred fourty perches then North to the first Bounded Tree containing and laid out for four hundred and sixty three acres of Land more or Less with and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wayes appertaining to my ^s.d^ sone John Hammond his heirs and assigns to his and their proper use and Behoof for ever And they to passes keep and enjoy the same freely and quietly without any matter of challeng clame or Demand of me the said Thoms John Hammond or any other person or persons whatsoever for me in my name by my cause or procurement and without any Money therefore to be Yield paid or done to me the said Thoms John Hammond or to any other person |
