          Annapolis the second Tuesday of April last past the afd
       Thomas Clayland by a Writ of Entry sur Disseisin en le Post did
       demand against the aforesaid Samuel all that Tract or Parcell of Plantable
       Land called Grammers Chance lying in Ann Arundel County afd on
       the Main Branch of Lyons Creek containing six hundred and thirty
       three acres as his Right and Inheritance and into which the same Samuel
       Lane had not Entry but after the Disseisin which Hugh Hunt thereof
       unjustly and without judgment made to the said Thomas Clayland
       within thirty Years &c    And thereupon at the same court came the afd
       Samuel Lane in his own proper person and defended his Right when &c
       and vouched to warranty thereof the Common Vouchee who also appeared
       in the same court in the same Term in his proper person & entered
       into the Warranty of the same and afterward made default by which a good
       and perfect common Recovery of the Lands and premisses afd according
       to the usual Course of Common Recoverys in such cases used was had
       and perfected as by the Records and proceedings thereof in the same court
       remaining fully appeareth   Now this Indenture witnesseth and
       the afores.d Thomas Clayland for himself his Heirs Executors and
       Administrators doth hereby covenant grant and agree to and with the
       said Samuel Lane his Heirs and assigns by these presents and
       Doth hereby signify and declare that the Recovery afd of the Lands
       and premisses afd so as afd had and suffered and the Execution
       thereof shall be and enure and at all Times forever hereafter shall be
       Construed Esteemed adjudged and taken to be and Enure and by all
       the parties to the said recovery at the Time of suffering the same was
       intended and declared to be and enure to the sole and proper Use and
       Behoof of the said Samuel Lane his Heirs and assigns for ever
