(379) On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Received on the day and Year first within Written of and from the within named Joseph Ensor the sum of Five shillings sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to me I say received by me Edward Day Witness William Lux & Ja.s Brice On the Twenty second day of March 1763 Came before me the subscribers one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Joseph Ensor Edward Day and John Rogers and did severally acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be their act and Deed to and for the uses intents and purposes within mentioned and the Lands and premisses therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the said Edward Day his Heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Before Geo Steuart Recorded the 21.st day of April 1763 11½ s.d Exam.d This Indenture made this Eighth day of April in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty three Between William Magruder of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and George Frazier of the same County and Province Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Magruder for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings sterling Money to him in hand paid by the aforesaid George Frazier the receipt whereof is |
