367 Received the day and Year first within Writen of and from the within named George Maxwell the sum of Five shillings Current Money being the Consideration Money within Mentioned to be by him paid to me, I say received by me John Brown Witness J Hepburn On the Twenty first day of April seventeen hundred and sixty three Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named John Bracco George Maxwell and John Browne and did severally acknowledge the within Deed to be their respective act and Deed to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes within Mentioned and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the said George Maxwell his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the act of assembly in such cases made and provided Acknowledged before J Hepburn Recorded the 21.st day of April 1763 7 s.d Exam.d This Indenture made this Twenty first day of March in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty three Between Ignatius Wheeler of Baltimore County Planter of the one Part and William Thomas of Prince Georges County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Ignatius Wheeler for and in consideration of the sum of Five shillings sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said William Thomas at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted Bargained and sold and by these presents Doth grant bargain and sell unto him the said William Thomas his Executors administrators and assigns All that Tract or |
