       and William Allen of the City of Philadelphia in Pensylvania Esq.r
       of the other part   Whereas by a certain Contract or Instrument
       in Writing dated the fifth day of March last under the hand of the
       said Daniel Dulany (reciting as therein recited and for the considerations
       therein mentioned he the said Daniel Dulany did agree
       to convey to Barnabas Hughes of the County of Lancaster Yeoman
       in Fee a certain Tract of Land called the Long Meadow Enlarged
       situate in Frederick County in the Province of Maryland as by the
       same contract or agreement in Writing appears   And
       Whereas the said Barnabas Hughes by indenture of the
       Eighth day of May last did for the consideration therein mentioned
       bargain sell assign transfer and make over unto the said William
       Allen his heirs and assigns  All his the said Barnabas
       Hughes's Estates right Title Interest and Claim of in and to
       the said Tract of Land called Long Meadow enlarged with the rights
       Members and appurtenances thereto belonging  Together
       with the said recited contract for the purchase of the said premisses
       and all Benefit and advantage thereof at Law and ^in^ Equity, as
       by the same recited indenture appears      Now this Indenture
       Witnesseth that the said Daniel Dulany for and in consideration
       of the sum of Two Thousand pounds sterling Money of Great
       Brittain to him paid or secured to be paid by the said William
       Allen ^at or before the ensealing hereof Hath bargained sold aliened released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth bargain
       sell allien release enfeoff and confirm unto the said William Allen^ (in his actual Possession now being by virtue of a
       Bargain and sale to him thereof made for one Year by Indenture
       bearing date the day next before the day of the date of these presents
       and by force of the statute made for transferring uses into possession
       and to his heirs and assigns   All that the said Tract of Land
                                                                                  situate
