345 Maryland fs.t Be it remembered that on the Eleventh day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty three personally appeared before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Francis Hall and Dorothy his Wife the Bargainors within mentioned and did acknowledge the within written indenture to be their act and Deed to and for the uses and purposes within mentioned and declared according to the form of the act of assembly in such cases made and provided And the said Dorothy the Wife being by me privately Examined out of the hearing of her Husband did declare that she made her acknowledgment of the same willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by Fears or threats of or ill usage by her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day the Year above written J Hepburn 1763 April 22.d Received of M.r Francis Hall Junior Twenty five shillings and four pence sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the alienation Fine on the within Twelve Hundred and sixty Five acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordship's Agent and receiver General Benj.a Beall 10 s.d Recorded the 22.d April 1763 |
