283. the Right honourable the Lord proprietary his Justices of the Provincial Court of the Province of Maryland Thomas John Hammond party to these presents and acknowledged the Lands & Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the within Mentioned John Hammond his Heirs & Assigns for ever according to the true Intent & Meaning of the Same and of the act of assembly in that case made and provided Geo Steuart Recorded the 13.th January 1763 4½ s.d x.d This Indenture made the thirteenth day of August One thousand seven hundred and sixty two Between Joseph Ensor of Baltimore County of the one part And Richard Dicks Joyner of the other part Witnesseth that the said Joseph Ensor for and in consideration of Twenty Pounds Current Money to him in hand paid by the said Richard Dicks the Receipt whereof the said Joseph Ensor doth acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully contented satisfied ^contented^ & paid Hath granted Bargained and sold aliened and confirmed and Doth by these Presents Bargain sell alien & confirm unto the said Richard Dicks his Heirs and Assigns for ever A certain piece or parcel of Land lying and being in Baltimore County Being part of a tract of Land Called and Known by the Name of Ensors Inspection Beginning at two Bounded White Oaks Markd for that purpose standing on the east side of the Main Road Leading from Baltimore Town to George Stails and at the place where the Patapsco Neck road croses |
