290 said Henry Gaither his Heirs or Assigns make do or Execute any further Instrument or Instruments of Writing that may be found more Necessary by him the said Henry Gaither his Heirs and Assigns or his or their Council Learned in the Law for the more sure conveying and confirming the said Lands and Premisses warranted and Defended as above unto him the said Henry Gaither his Heirs and Assigns In Witness Whereof the said Charles Carroll hath to these presents set his Hand and Affixed his seal the Day & Year first above Written Charles Carroll (s) Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of us Fra.s Fairbrother & Conrad Merkell Received the Day & Year within Mentioned of the within named Henry Gaither the sum of one hundred Pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain being the full consideration Money within Mentioned Test Francis Fairbrother Conrad Merkell Charles Carroll On the 12.th Day of January 1763 Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within named Charles Carroll and Acknowledged the within instrument to be his Act and Deed And the Land and Premisses within Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the Within Named Henry Gaither his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True Intent and Meaning of the within Deed & the act of assembly in such cases made and Provided John Brice |
