Ex.d  This Indenture Tripartite made this Twenty
        fourth Day of March in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven
        hundred and Sixty two  Between William Cromwell of Ann
        Arundel County Planter and John Brice of the same county Esquire
        of the first Part Jonathan Pinkney of Ann Arundel County of
        the second Part and John Rogers of Ann Arundel County of the
        third Part  Witnesseth that the said William Cromwell and John
        Brice for and in consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings
        Sterling Money to each of them in Hand paid by the said Jonathan
        Pinkney at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents
        the Receipt whereof they do hereby respectively acknowledge
        and for the docking barring and extinguishing all Estates Tail
        and Reversions and Remainders thereupon Expectant or
        depending of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments
        herein after mentioned they the said William Cromwell and
        John Brice (by and with the Advice and Consent of the
        aforesaid John Rogers testified by his being a party to and
        his sealing and executing these Presents)  Have and each of
        them Hath granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed
        and by these Presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain
        Sell Alien release and Confirm unto him the said Jonathan
        Pinkney (in his Actual Possession now being by Virtue of a
        Bargain and Sale ot him thereof made by them the said William
        Cromwell and John Brice bearing date the Day next before
        the Day of the Date of these Presents for one whole year commencing
        from the Day next before the Day of the Date thereof and by Force
        of the Statute for Transferring Uses into Possession) his Heirs and
        Assigns  All that Tract or Parcel of Land lying and being in Ann
        Arundel County aforesaid on Curtis's Creek called Cromwells first
        seat containing five hundred and twenty three Acres of Land
