(264) December the 11.th 1762 Then Came before Us two of his Lordship's Justices of Ann arundel County Court, the within Named Ann Hammond & Henry Griffith and Acknowledged the within Indenture to be their Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Benjamin Clary his Heirs and Assigns forever According to the true intent and meaning of the same and the act of assembly in that case made and provided taken & acknowledged before us the subscribers the day & Year above Written Ephoward John Burgess Junior December 16.th 1762 Received of M.r Benjamin Clary Two shillings and ten pence sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the alienation Fine on the Within seventy Acres of Land by Virtue of a commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordship's Agent & receiver general Benjamin Beall December 11.th 1762 Received of Benj.a Clary the sum of Five Pounds sterling ^money^ which being the consideration of the within Deed Ephoward Ann Hammond John Burgess Junior H Griffith Recorded the 16.th December 1762 7 3/4 s.d Exam.d This Indenture made this Eleventh Day of December Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty two Between Ann Hammond and Henry Griffith both of Ann arundel County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and William Aldridge of Frederick County into the Province afores.d Planter of the other part Wit |
