261 Administrators doth hereby covenant & promise to and with the aforesaid Thomas Johnson Junior his Heirs Executors adm.rs and assigns That he the said Solomon Turner shall and will well and truly pay to him the said Thomas Johnson Junior the aforesaid sum of thirty pounds seventeen shillings and six pence Current Money with legal interest thereon on the afores.d Twentieth Day of December next In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and affixed their seals the Day and Year first above Written his Signed Sealed and Delivered Solomon I Turner being first duly stampt Mark in the presence of Robert Alexander & Richard Butler On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Received the Day and Year first within Written of and from the within Named Thom.s Johnson Junior the sum of thirty pounds seventeen shillings and six pence Current Money being the consideration within mentioned to be paid by him to me I say received by his Witness Solomon I Turner Rob.t Alexander R.d Butler Mark June 17.th 1762 Came the within named Solomon Turner before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Frederick County and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of 7½ sd the within Thomas Johnson Junior his Heirs and assigns according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed 1762 and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Recorded 10.th December Thomas Norris W.m Luckett |
