259 Be it Remembered that on the Twentieth Day of November in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand seven hundred and sixty two the within named Elizabeth Bordley came before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be her Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses within mentioned to be the Rigth and Estate of the within named John Brice his Heirs and assigns according to act of assembly in such case Provided Geo Steuart November 26.th 1762 Received of John Brice Esq.r Three shillings & nine pence three Farthings sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Lands by Virtue of a commission from Edward Loyd Esquire his said Lordship's Agent and Receiver General Benj.a Beall Recorded the 26.th November 1762 7 s.d Exam.d This Indenture made this seventeenth day of June seventeen hundred & sixty two Between Solomon Turner of Frederick County Planter of the one part and Thomas Johnson Junior of the City of Annapolis attorney at Law of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Solomon Turner for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty pounds seventeen shillings & six pence Current Money to him in hand paid by |
