(254) Behoof of the said Thomas Ringgold and his Heirs and Assigns forever and to or for no other Use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Stephen Bordley doth hereby Warrant and Defend the said hereby bargained Premisses to him the said Thomas Ringgold and his Heirs against the said Stephen Bordley and his Heirs and against all other Person or Persons whatsoever claiming or to claim by from or under him or them In Witness whereof the Parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hand and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year above Written Sealed and Delivered in presence of J Bordley (seal) The Words [of Adventure resurveyed] and [forty Nine Acres] being first Interlined Th.s Ringgold (seal) William Paca Tho.s Hands On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit Reced this 14.th Day of November 1762 of the within Thomas Ringgold the Sum of one hundred and forty seven Pounds Current Money in full consideration for the within Land Witness William Paca p me S Bordley Th.s Hands Be it Remembered that on the 14.th Day of November in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Two the within named Stephen Bordley Esq.r Personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within and above Deed to be his act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein bargained and sold to be the only right Property and Estate of the within Thomas Ringgold his Heirs and Assigns according to the Form Force and Effect of the same Deed In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand the Day and Year above Jn.o Brice 1762 Nov.r 14.th Received of M.r Thomas Ringgold one shilling and Eleven Pence half penny sterling for the use of the Lord (Baltimore) |
