252 On the 15.th Day of September 1762 Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within Named Bennett Green William Boarman Junior Gerrard Boarman and William Mcpherson and did severally acknowledge the within Deed to be their Respective Act and Deed to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes within Mentioned and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the said William Boarman and Gerrard Boarman their Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided before J Hepburn On the 18.th Day of September 1762 Came Ann Green the Wife of the within Named Bennett Green before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Charles County and did acknowledge that she freely consented and agreed to the within Instrument of Writing and relinquished her Right of Dower to the Land and Premisses therein mentioned and she being Examined by us privately out of the hearing of her said Husband did declare that she made such acknowledgment willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill Usage by her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure Acknowledged and Declared by the above named Ann Green according to the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided Before us Tho.s Stone Dan.l Jenifer Recorded the 1.st day of November 1762 6 sides |
