(245) written Mortgage the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and thereof do acquit and Discharge her the said Margaret Whisler the Executrix of him the said Ulrick Whisler as also his Heirs and Administrators by these Presents have remised and released and by these Presents do Absolutely Remise and Release unto the said Margaret Whisler and the Heirs of the within mentioned Ulrick Whisler all the within mentioned Tract or parcel of Land and all the Estate Right Title and Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever either in Law or Equity which I the said Charles Carroll have in or to the within Mortgaged Tract or parcel of Land with its appurtenances by virtue of the within written Mortgage In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty fifth day of October Seventeen hundred and Sixty two Test Francis Fairbrother Char Carroll (seal) Conrod Mirkell Recorded 26.th October 1762 3 sides Vide Mortgage Recorded in Liber E I N.o 12 fol 287 The following is an Appendix to Charles Peale's Certificates Recorded in Fol 238 Priscilla Saunders of Queen Anns County in the Province of Maryland Widow aged seventy Years or thereabout being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland deposeth and saith, that about Twenty one Years ago last April she was sent for as a Midwife to M.rs Peale the Wife of M.r Charles Peale then Master of the Freeschool in Queen Ann's County that she Delivered the said M.rs Peale of a Male Child which to the best of her Remembrance Was Called Charles after his Father, and that M.rs Peale said it was the first child by M.r Peale, and further saith not her Taken the 26.th day of Septemb.r 1762 Priscilla P Saunders before R Tilghman Mark |
