241 Payment of the sum of seventeen shilling sterling Money of Greate Brittain at one Intire Payment for and in the Nature of a fine for the Term of Ninety Two Years under the same annuel Rent and with the Like Covenants and agreements as are in these presents contained In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably sett their hands and seals the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Benj.a Tasker (s) George Steuart On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Came before the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within named Benj.a Tasker and acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed, and the within parcel of Ground & Premisses thereby leased to be the Right and Estate of the within Named Nathan Hammond his Executors administrators and assigns, according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the act of assembly in that case made and provided, and at the same Time came Ann the wife of the said Benjam Tasker who being by me privately Examined and out of the hearing of her said Husband declared that she freely and Voluntarely Relinquished her Dower in the within Demised parcell of Land and that she was 9 sides not induced theirto by Fear or threats of her said husband or fear of his Displeasure, Acknowledged before me this 14.th day of October Anno Domini 1762 Geo Steuart Recorded the 18.th October 1762 |
