216 and will do acknowledge levy suffer and Execute all such further and other Acts Matters Conveyances and Assurances in the Law whatsoever for the further and better conveying and assuring of the said hereby granted Premisses unto the said Thomas Rutland his Heirs and Assigns as by him them or his or their Councel learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised advised or required so as the same contain no further or other Covenants or Warranties than against the Acts of the Person or Persons makeing the same and so as for the making thereof the Person or Persons who shall be required to make the same be not compelled or compellable to go or Travel a greater Distance from his or their Dwellings than the Distance of five Miles In Witness whereof the said Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson have hereunto affixed their hands and seals the Day and Year first above said Sealed & Delivered Barth Pomeroy (s) in Precence of Jos.h Janson (s) Daniel Dulany & M Macnemara Maryland fs.t the 24.th September 1762 Then came Michael Macnemara one of the subscribing Witnesses to the within Deed before me the subscriber one of his the Lordships Provincial Judges of the Province of Maryland and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God |
