       from the said Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson
       by another                     Indenture ^intended^ to be made and bear date
       the Day next after the Day of the Date of these Presents
       In Witness whereof the said Bartholomew Pomeroy
       and Joseph Janson have hereunto affixed their Hands
       and seals the Day & Year first above written
       Sealed and Delivered
       in Presence of                           Barthol Pomeroy  (s)
       Dan.l Dulany
       M Macnemara                         Jos Janson            (s)

                On the Back of the aforegoing Deed
                      was thus written

       Maryland fs.t the 24.th September 1762 then came
       Michael Macnemara one of the subscribing Witnesses
       to the within Deed before me the subscriber one of the Provincial
       Judges of the Province of Maryland and made Oath on the
       Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that he subscribed his name
       as Witness to the Within Deed and that he saw Daniel Dulany
       the other subscribing Evidence sign his Name as Witness thereto
       at the same Time and that the said Deed was duly executed in
       their Province by the Party within mentioned
                                                    before         J Heburn

             Received of M.r Thomas Rutland the sum of
       Five shillings ster being the Consideration Money
       within Mentioned for the use of Bartholomew Pomeroy
                                                                                  and
