196 said Thomson Mason subsequent to the intended Recovery herein after mentioned and for barring cutting off and destroying all and all Manner of Estate and Estates tail Remainder & Remainders and Reversions of and in the Lands and premisses herein after mentioned and for granting setling and assuring of the same to and for the uses intents and purposes herein after mentioned the said James Manning hath granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm to the said Thomson Mason in his actual possession now being by Virtue of a Bargain and sale ot him thereof made by the said James Manning by indenture bearing date the Day next before the Date of these presents for the Term of one whole Year commencing from the last Day of July next before the Date of the same indenture for the consideration of five shillings current Money therein mentioned and by force and Virtue of the statute for Transferring uses into Possession) and to his Heirs and assigns all that Tract or Parcell of Land lying and being situate in Saint Michael's hundred in Saint Mary's County called and Known by the Name of Cornelius his swamp and contained within the following Bounds Viz Beginning at a Marked White Oak upon a Branch of Saint Jeroms Creek and running from the said Creek Oak West & by North for one hundred perches to a Marked red oak standing on the south side of the Town path bounded on the |
