176 Witness John Darnall On the Twenty fifth day of September 1762 came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships provincial Justices the within Named Francis King, and did acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses and Negroes therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named James Marshall his Heirs Executors administrators and assigns according to the purport true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided Before John Darnall Recorded the 25.th of September 1762 18 sides Exam.d This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of April in the Second Year of the Reign of our most Gracious Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God King of Great Brittain France and Ireland Defender of the Faith &c and in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty two Between Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson of London in the Kingdom of Great Brittain Merchants on the one part, and William Everfields of Prince Georges County in the province of Maryland Merchant on the other part |
