       advance or pay to or under the appointment or Order in Writing
       of the said Francis King together with legal Interest on such
       payments and advances from the Time of their respectively
       being made at or before the first day of December next ensuing
       the date hereof then this present Indenture and every Clause
       Article and thing herein mentioned or contained shall cease
       determine and become absolutely void any thing herein
       before mentioned or contained to the contrary thereof in
       any wise notwithstanding      And the afores.d Francis
       King for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators
       doth hereby Covenant promise Grant and agree to and with
       the same James Marshall his Heirs Executors administrators
       and Assigns in Manner and form following that is to say
       That he the said Francis King and his Heirs the said part
       of the Tract of Land aforesaid and premisses and every
       part and parcel thereof and the fourteen Negro Slaves
       aforesaid unto him the said James Marshall his Heirs
       Executors and Assigns against all Manner of persons
       whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend
       by these presents    And further that he the said Francis
       King will well and truly pay and satisfy unto him
       the said James Marshall his Heirs Executors Administrators
       or Assigns the aforesaid sums of two hundred and twenty
       eight pounds sixteen shillings and eight pence sterling
