168 to and for the uses intents and purposes within mentioned ^and the Land and Premisses therein Mentioned^ to be the Right and Estate of the said George Maxwell Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided Acknowledged before me Geo Steuart 7 sides Recorded the 23.d September 1762 Exam.d This Indenture made this Twenty fifth day of September in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty two; Between Francis King of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and James Marshall of the same County and Province Merchant of the other part Whereas the said Francis King is justly indebted to the aforesaid James Marshall on a protested Bill of Exchange with the Damages & charges thereon in the sum of fifteen pounds two shillings and nine pence sterling Money, also to Robert Swan of the City of Annapolis ^Merch.t^ on Account stated and settled in the sum of thirteen pounds four shillings and eleven pence sterling Money, also to John Buchanan of the City of London Merchant on Bond for Principal and Interest thereof in the sum of Two hundred pounds nine shillings Sterling Money, and also to John Glassford and Company Merchants in Great Brittain on Account stated and settled in the sum of Ninety nine pounds Nineteen shillings and |
