133 Exam.d This Indenture made this Eight day of September in the Year of our Lord seventeen, hundred and sixty two Between Charles Homewood of Ann arundel County Gentleman of the one part and Mary Woodward of Ann arundel County Widow and Executrix of the Testament and last Will of Henry Woodward late of the county aforesaid Gentleman deceased of the other part Whereas by a certain Deed of Indenture made and Dated on or about the fourth day of October seventeen hundred and sixty and acknowledged and Recorded in the Provincial Court Land Records he the said Charles Homewood for the consideration of Two Thousand and forty four Pounds and eight pence sterling did mortgage to him the said Henry Woodward several Tracts and Parcels of Land lying in Ann arundel County afd, and afterwards by a certain Instrument in Writing made by the said Henry Woodward in his life Time dated on or about the Ninth day of October seventeen hundred and sixty and Acknowledged and recorded in the said Records the said Henry Woodward for the consideration therein Mentioned did grant bargain sell and deliver unto him the said Charles Homewood his Executors Administrators and Assigns two Negroes Men Slaves the one called Daniel and the other Coffee and in the Same Instrument of Writing it is amongst other Things provided and |
