129 September 14.th Received of M.r Aaron Rawlings four shillings sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within One Hundred Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General 11 sides Benj.a Beall Recorded the 13.th September 1762 Ex.d Know all Men by these presents that I Philip Jackson of Bal.t County in the Province of Maryland in consideration of the sum of Ninety pounds Current Money to me in hand paid by Vachel Worthington of the Province & Co.ty afors.d have Bargained sold Released granted & confirmed & by the Pres.ts do bargain sell Release Grant & Confirm unto the said Vachel Worthington one Negroe Woman Named Bett & Girl named Kassandria & their Encrease for ever now being in his Possession To have and To hold the said slaves & their increase to Him and his heirs for ever And the said Philip Jackson doth hereby Warrant & for ever Defend the said slaves & there present increase from himself his Heirs Exec.rs & Administrators for ever & from all other Persons Whatsoever claiming or to claim for the only proper use & behoof of him the sid Vachel Worthington his |
