On the Back of the Aforegoing Writ was thus Indorsed September 14.th 1762 Then received of Aaron Rawlings the sum of forty four pounds Current Money of Maryland being in full for the within Consideration Money Received Test p Jon.a Rawlings Jn.o Iams John Weems Ann Arundel County fs.t September 14.th 1762 Memorandum that on the Day and Year above written Came before us the subscriber two of his Lordship's Justices of the county aforesaid the Within named Jonathan Rawlings and acknowledged the Within Written Deed to be his Act and Deed and that the within Granted Lands and Premisses are the Right and Estate of the within named Aaron Rawlings his Heirs and assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the Within written Deed and the act of Assembly in such cases made and provided At the same Time Came Elizabeth Rawlings Wife of the said Jonathan Rawlings who being privately Examined apart from and out of the hearing of her said Husband freely and Voluntarily gave up her Right of Dower of and in the Within granted Lands unto the said Aaron Rawlings his Heirs and Assigns for ever In Testimony whereof We have here unto subscribed our Names the Day and Year above Written Jn.o Ijams John Weems |
