Buchanan and in his Name that is or shall be needfull
        or necessary by the Laws and Customs of the said province
        of Maryland for eh Effectual Conveyance and Assurance
        of Lands Tenements and Hereditaments being in the said
        province of Maryland  In Witness whereof the
        said John Buchanan hath here unto set his Hand
        and affixed his Seal the Day and Year first above
        written

            On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written (Viz)

        Sealed and delivered ^being first duly stamp'd^ in the presence of
        John Johnston    &    Richard Lane

        Received on the day and Year first within written of the
        within named Ignatius Digges Esq.^r the sum of
        Two hundred and Ninety one Pounds being the consideration
        within mentioned to be by him paid to me

        1762  August 12.^th  Then came Richard Lane one
        of the subscribing Evidences to the within Deed before
        of the subscriber one of the provincial judges of the
        Province of Maryland and made Oath on the Holy
        Evangelists of Almighty God that he subscribed his
        Name as Witness to the Within Deed, and that
