       Came the within named Edward Lloyd before me the Subscriber one of
       the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and did acknowledge the within
sides  writing to be his Act and Deed to and for the uses and purposes in the said writing

Ex.d  To all to whom these Presents shall come I Sir Richard Glyn Knight
       Lord Mayor of the City of London In Pursuance of an Act of Parliament made
       and Passed in the Fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the
       Second Intituled an Act for the more easy Recovery of Debts in His Majestys
       Plantations and Colonies in America Do hereby Certify that on the Day of
       the Date hereof Personally came and appeared before me Daniel Cookson the
       Deponent named in the Affidavit hereunto annexed being a Person well
       known and worthy of good credit and by Solemn Oath which the said Deponent
       then took before me upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God did solemnly
       and Sincerely declare testify and depose to be true the several Matters and
       things mentioned and contained in the said Annexed Affidavit

                In Faith and Testimony whereof I the said Lord Mayor have
LS           caused the Seal of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City of London
                to be hereunto put and affixed and the account and Letter of Attorney
       Mentioned and refered to in and by the said Affidavit to be hereunto also annexed
       Dated in London the Thirteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord 1759

       London to wit daniel Cookson Clerk to M.r Charles Warrall of London Merchant
       and late Clerk to M.r Charles Carnan late of London Merchant maketh
       Oath That the Account hereunto annexed intitled Mes.rs Chamier & Carnan
       their Account Current with the Trustees of Charles Carnan of London amounting on
       the Debtor Side to Four thousand Eight hundred and twenty Nine Pounds four
       Shillings and one penny and on the Credit Side to the sum of Four thousand and
