(74) Persons whatsoever for or on Account of the aforesaid Goods Wares or Merchandize to be sold by the aforesaid William Lux and Disposed of for our Accounts and upon receipt thereof or of any part or parcel thereof in our Names to make and give Acquittances or other discharges for the same and to do Execute and perform and finish for Us and in our Names all and Singular Things which shall be expedient and necessary in about ^for^ touching or concerning the Premisses or any of them as throughly and wholly as We the said John Steuart and Duncan Campbell might or could do in or about the same (being Personally present) and whatsoever our Said Attorney shall do or cause to be done in about or concerning the Premisses We the said John Steuart and Duncan Campbell do and Shall Ratify Confirm and Allow as fully and Amply to all intents and purposes as if We ourselves or either of Us were presents doing the Same in our proper Persons In Witness whereof I the said Duncan Campbell for myself and Partner John Steuart have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of September Anno Domini 1759 Sealed and Delivered (being first duly Stampt) in For John Steuart and Self Presence of Dun Cambell (seal) Jn.o Brice Benj.a Beall On the Back of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus written Viz.t Be it remembered that on the 13th day of December in the Year of our Lord sides 1759 before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel 5 County Personally appeared the within named John Brice and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that he was present at the Execution of the within Power of Attorney and did See the within named Duncan Campbell seal and deliver the within Power of Attorney for the Uses therein mentioned sworn to before Jn.o Bullen Recorded 12th March 1760 |
