(57) the one part and Jacob Miers of the County and Province aforesaid farmers of the other Witnesseth that the said John Diggs for and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Seventeen pounds to him in hand paid and secured to be paid by the said Jacob Miers before the Insealing and Delivery of these presents wherewith the said John Digges doth acknowledge himself to be fully content hath Given Granted Bargained Sold and Confirmed and by these Presents doth give Grant Bargain Sell and Confirm unto the said Jacob Miers all that parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Digges's Choice beginning at a black Oak being the Beginning Tree of Stephen Ullery's Land and running thence North Eighteen Degrees East one hundred and five perches South Eighty two Degrees West twenty Six perches North twelve Degrees West fifty eight perches south Eighty Two degrees East fourteen Perches North nine degrees East Sixty Eight perches West Sixty Six perches South Twenty two degrees West One hundred and Sixty perches thence by a direct line to the Beginning containing one hundred and Seventeen Acres of Land with all the rights Members and Appurtenances thereof and also all the Right Title Claim or Demand of the said John Digges of in and to all and Singular the Premisses above mentioned with the appurtenances To have and to hold the aforesaid one hundred and Seventeen Acres of Land with the appurtenances unto the said Jacob Miers his Heirs and Assigns to his and their own proper use and behoof for ever and the said John Digges for himself his heirs and assigns doth covenant and grant to and with the said Jacob Miers his Heirs and Assigns that the said Jacob Miers his Heirs and Assigns shall and may at all times hereafter peaceably have hold occupy Possess and enjoy all and Singular the Said Land and Premisses above Mentioned with the Appurtenances without the lett Suit Trouble Interuption or Denial of him the said John Digges ^or^ his Assigns or other person or Persons claiming by from or under him them or any of them and freed and discharged of all former and other Gifts Grants Bargains sails or any other matter or thing whatsoever had made or suffered to alter or change the Property thereof the Rents and services which now are or hereafter shall become due and Payable to the (Chief) |
