(5) x.d This Indenture made this third day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred fifty and nine Between Charles Conaway of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Planter and Diana his Wife he being Son and Heir at Law of James Conaway late of the County and Province aforesaid deceased of the one Part and John Gill of Queen Anns County in the Province aforesaid but late of White Haven in Great Britain Merchant of the other part Whereas Peter Robinson of Baltimore County in the Province aforesaid did on the twelfth day of March one thousand Seven hundred forty and one Execute a Deed of Conveyance to the Said James Conaway his Heirs and Assigns for Ever of Two certain Tracts or Parcels of Land the one called Narrows containing one hundred Acres more or less and which said Deed is Recorded in Liber R B number one being one of the Land Records in Ann Arundel County Court Relation being thereunto had may and will more fully appear Now Know Ye and this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Charles and Diana his Wife for and in consideration of the Sum of Sixty seven pounds Ten Shillings Lawfull Current Money of Maryland aforesaid to them in hand paid the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge have given granted Bargained Sold Enfeoffed Aliened remised Released and Confirmed and by these Presents do give grant Bargain Sell Enfeoff alien remise release and confirm unto the said John Gill his Heirs and Assigns for Ever all their Right Title Claim Interest and Demand which they have to and unto the said Two Tracts or parcels of Land the one called the narrows aforesaid Scituate and lying on the South Side of Patapscoe River on the North Side of a Creek called Stony Creek Beginning at a bounded spanish Oak and runing North Seventy Perches to a bounded Chesnut Standing at the Mouth of a Cove then North West Twenty perches then with a small Creek lying up West South South West one hundred and thirty Perches to a bounded White Oak Standing in the fork of a Creek then into the Woods Containing the said courses forty Perches to a bounded oak then south East forty perches then running on the Branch of the said Stoney Creek lying South East one hundred perches to the turning of the said Branch then bounding on the said Branch with a streight Line to the first bounded Tree containing and laid out for one hundred acres more or less the other called Robinsons Addition Beginning at the End of the said Robinsons South South East Line and running North North West o^ne^ hundred (Perches) |
