393) At the foot of which Indenture of Release was thus Written fs.t Maryland fs.t Be it hereby certifyed that on the eighth day of December in the Year Seventeen hundred eighty ^Sixty^ and one Personally came before me the subscriber one of the Lord Proprietary that now is his Justices of the Provincial Court the within Henrietta Maria Dulany Party to this Deed and acknowledged the same Deed and the Lands and Premisses thereby Granted and Released unto the within Edward Lloyd Esq.r and his Heirs to the Uses Intents and Purposes in the same Deed Limitted Appointed mentioned and Declared according to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed In Witness whereof I have hereto set my Hand the Day and Year aforesaid 24 s.ds Geo Steuart Recorded 8.th December 1761 x.d This Indenture Tripartite made this ninth day of December in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty one Between Mary Woodward of Annarundel County Widow of Henry Woodward late of Annarundel County Gentleman deceased of the first Part Benjamin Tasker of the City of Annapolis Esq.r of the second Part and Henrietta Maria Dulany of the City of Annapolis Widow of the third Part Whereas the said Henry Woodward did by his Testament and last Will in Writing Will and Empower the said Mary Woodward to sell at publick Vendue after convenient Notice of such Vendue in the Maryland Gazette and after such Vendue and Sale to convey to the respective Purchasers thereof in Fee Simple sundry of his Lands and Tenements in the said Will mentioned Pursuant to which Will and the Power therein given the aforesaid Mary Woodward after due Notice thereof given by successive weekly advertisements Published in the Maryland Gazette did set up and expose to sale Publick Vendue on the fifth day of this instant December All those two Lotts of Ground lying Scituate in the City of Annapolis (except such Parts thereof as were leased by the said Henry Woodward in his Life Time to James Chalmers and Robert Condon severally distinguished in the plat of the said City by the Numbers forty five and forty six and whereon stand the Messuage or Tenement now in the actual occupation of William Woodward the Tenant of the said Henry Woodward and also the Messuage or Tenement now |
