387) x.d This Indenture made the eighth day of December in the Year Seventeen hundred sixty and one Between Henrietta Maria Dulany of the City of Annapolis in Annarundell County of the first Part Philemon Lloyd Chew of the City of Annapolis Gentleman Son of the said Henrietta Maria Dulany of the second Part and Edward Lloyd Esquire of Talbot County of the third Part Witnesseth That the said Henrietta Maria Dulany for and in consideration of the natural Love and Affection which she hath and beareth to her two sons to wit Samuel Chew and the aforesaid Philemon Lloyd Chew and to the Intent that the Lands and Premisses here after mentioned may be settled according to the several Uses by these Presents hereafter appointed agreed Limitted and Declared and for and in consideration of the sum of five Shillings Current Money to her the said Henrietta Maria in hand Paid by the said Edward Lloyd Esq.r hath Granted Bargained Sold remised released ratified and confirmed And by these Presents doth Grant Bargain Sell Remise Release Ratify and Confirm unto the said Edward Lloyd Esquire (in the actual Possession of the several Tracts ^and parcels^ of Land Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale thereof to him made for one whole Year by Indenture bearing Date the day next before the Day of the Date hereof and of the Statute for Transferring uses into Possession) and to his Heirs all that Tract or Parcel of Land lying in Queen Anns County called Lloyds Insula containing seventeen hundred and ninety five acres and also all that other Tract or Parcel of Land lying in Queen Anns County called the Purchase adjoining to the Former Tract and containing one thousand acres both which Tracts together are commonly called and known by the Name of the Island or Lloyds Island in Wye River and also two other parcels of Land lying in Talbot County one containing one hundred and nine acres being Part of a Tract of Land called or known by the Name of Woolmans Hermitage or Woolmans Heretage and the other containing two hundred and six acres being Part of a Tract of Land called or known by the Name of Woolmans Inheritance and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits of all and singular the Premisses and every Part and Parcel thereof with their and every of |
