       acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing and the Track of Land and
       Premisses therein mentioned to be the Estate and Title of William Strachan
       according to the true Intent and Meaning thereof and conformable to the
       Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided

                               This Indenture made the twenty Sixth day of
       November in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty one
       Between George Gordon of Prince Georges County Gentleman of the
       one Part and James Dick of London Town in Ann Arundel County Merchant
       of the other Part  Witnesseth that Whereas the s.d George Gordon did
       by his Deed dated the 27.th Day of December 1750 indented acknowledged &
       duly Recorded convey and make over in trust to the s.d James Dick attorney
       in fact for William Black Merchant in London a certain Tract of Land
       called the Exchange & New Exchange enlarged lying in Frederick County for
       certain uses and purposes mentioned in the s.d Deed recourse being thereunto
       had will more fully appear  And whereas the said Tract of Land was set
       up to publick sale and sold at Frederick Town on the 18th day of November
       1761 To the said James Dick for the Sum of One hundred and thirty
       Pounds Sterling to be applied to the use of the Said William Black Now
       this Indenture Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
