             At the Foot of the aforegoing Deed of Gift was thus Written to wit

       30.th Apr.l 1761  Then received of John Morton Five Shillings sterling
       being the Consideration Money within Mentioned I say received p me
       Witness   J Hepburn
          Charles Carroll Jun.r                                 Tho.s Morton


       30.th Ap.l 1761  Then Came before me the Subscriber Lordships
       Justices of the Prov.l Court Tho.s Morton and Acknowledged the
       within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land
       & Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Title of the
       within John Morton his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns according to
       the true intent and meaning thereof and according to Act of
       Assembly in such case made and Provided
                                  Acknowledged before           J Hepburn


       30.th Ap.l 1761  Then Received of John Morton Two shillings and one
       Penny three farthings sterling as an Alienation Fine on the within
       Mentioned Lands by Order of Edward Lloyd Esq.r Agent of the right
       Honble the Lord Proprietary of Maryland

x.d  This Indenture made on the Eighteenth Day of May in
       the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and sixty one
       Between Hutcheson Parker of the Province of Maryland Gent
       & Alethea his Wife of the one Part and James Marshall of Prince
       Georges County & Province aforesaid Merchant of the other Part
       Witnesseth that the said Hutcheson Parker & Alethea his Wife
       for & in consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling to them
       in hand paid by the said James Marshall the receipt whereof they
       do hereby acknowledge & themselves to be therewith fully contented
       paid and Satisfied  Have Given Granted Bargained Sold and
       Confirmed & by these Presents do Give Grant Bargain sell & Confirm
       unto him the said James Marshall his Heirs & Assigns for ever  All
       the right Title Interest and Estate which the said Hutcheson Parker
