(370) Currency & Legal Interest thereon from the Date hereof In Testimony whereof the said Conrod Bott hath hereto sett his hand and seal the Day & year first above Written Sealed & Delivered in the Presence of Cünnsits Lott (seal) Rachel Darnall John Reresby On the back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Written to wit 1761 Octo.r 13.th I do hereby acknowledge to have received of Charles Carroll Esq.r Three hundred & Ten Pounds Ten Shillings Currency being the Consideration Money within mentioned Test Rachel Darnall John Reresby Cünisorts Lott 1761 Octo.r 18.th Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices Conrod Bott & acknowledged the within Deed according to the Act of Assembly in that case made & Provided Recorded 14th Oct.r 1761 Jn.o Brice 6 s.ds x.d This Indenture made this thirtieth Day of April in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty one Between Thomas Morton of Prince Georges County Planter of the one Part and John Morton of Prince Georges County of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Morton for and in consideration of the Natural Affection and Fatherly Love which he hath and doth been unto his son the said John Morton as also for divers other good causes and considerations more especially for the sum of Five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by the said John Morton before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and thereof and from every part and Parcel thereof he the said Thomas Morton doth acquit Exonerate and Discharge him the said John Morton his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs for ever by these Presents Hath given granted Bargained Sold Confirmed and made over unto the said John Morton his Heirs Ex.rs (Adm.rs) |
