(369) x.d This Indenture mad this thirteenth day of October Seventeen hundred and Sixty one Between Conrod Bott Sadler of Baltimore County of the one Part and Charles Carroll Esquire of the City of Annapolis of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Conrod Bott for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred & Ten Pounds Ten Shillings Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll the receipt whereof the said Conrod Bott doth hereby acknowledge hath bargained and Sold and by these Presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns the following part of a Tract of Land called Digges's Choice contained within the following Meets & Bounds Beginning at a bounded Hickory Tree being the Beginning Tree of Adam Cooks Land & running South Sixty Nine Degrees & a half Degree West two hundred and four Perches North forty one Degrees & a half ^Degree^ West Seventy Perches North forty six Degrees East forty Nine pches North forty one Degrees West fifteen pches North fifty five Degrees East Ninety Nine pches south forty one Degrees East fifteen pches North fifty five Degrees East Ninety six pches South Six Degrees East forty six pches south seventy five Degrees East Sixty Seven pches south thirty Degrees West thirty two pches South Sixty Degrees East Twenty Seven pches thence ^by^ with a direct Line to the Beginning containing one hundred & seventy six acres more or less together with all and singular its appurtenances To have and to hold the above said Land being part of Digges's Choice unto the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for ever Provided always that if the said Conrod Bott his Heirs Executors ^or Administrators^ do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Charles Carroll his Executors Administrators or Assigns the abovesaid sum of Three hundred & Ten Pounds Ten shillings currency and interest thereon at or before the thirteenth Day of October seventeen hundred sixty and Two then and from thence forth this sale shall be void and the said Conrod Bott for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth Covenant and Agree to & with the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns to Warrant and Defend the aforesaid parcel of Land and Premisses unto him the said Charles Carroll his Executors Administrators and Assigns from all persons whatever and the said Conrod Bott doth for himself his Heirs Executors Administrators & Assigns further covenant & agree to & with the said Charles Carroll his Executors Adm.rs and Assigns to pay unto the said Charles Carroll his Executors Adm.rs & Assigns the aforesaid Sum of Three hundred & Ten Pounds Ten Shillings (Currency) |
