       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit
      
       September y.e 11.th 1761   Received of the within named Athanasius
       Ford the Quantity of Five thousand Pound of Crop Tobacco it being the
       Consideration Money within mentioned

       September the Eleventh 1761  Came the within named Thomas
       Lane Weems and William Brewer before me one of his Lordships Justices
       of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Deed as their Act and
       Deed and the within Land and Premisses to be the Right and Estate of
       the within named Athanasius Ford his Heirs and Assigns according
       to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of
       Assembly in that case made and Provided
       Recorded 11.th Sept.r 1761                     before J Hepburn

Duty paid   Whereas henry Darnall Esquire of Prince Georges County by his
John Brice  Deed bearing Date September the Eight Seventeen hundred and Forty
    Cl           Mortgaged to William Black of London Merchant & Daniel Carroll late of
       Prince Georges County Gentleman Deceased the following Tracts of Land
       called the Addition Too good and Pitchcroft

       Now Know all Men by these Presents that We James Dick Attorney
       in Fact for William Black & Daniel Carroll on Behalf of his Mother
       Eleanor Carroll Administratrix of Daniel Carroll deceased for & in
       Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Ninety Pounds sterling
       to us in Hand paid by Charles Carroll Esquire the Receipt whereof
       we do hereby acknowledge  Have as We do by these Presents release
       convey and make over to the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns
       for and During the life of Henry Darnall Esquire of Prince Georges County
       all the said William Blacks & Daniel Carrolls Right & the right of their
       Heirs Administrators or Assigns to the said Parcels of Land called Addition
       Too good & Pitchcroft to the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for
       and During the Life of the said Henry Darnall  To Have and to hold
